We winter in Florida and this is at the Naples Botanical Garden – about 10 min. from my home by car. I went every Tuesday morning before the virus shut them down.
How wonderful you do have this near. And sad you can no longer visit, but perhaps, like the rest of us, you are finding beauty in your own surroundings. Be well!
I make baby quilts for Project Linus. And on Pinterest there are several pretty ones with the color of aft rose in them. These stand out to me. Wishing you all the best in your quilting!
I did a little cropping and corrected some color, etc. in Lightroom. I mainly muted the green reflections at the top because they were stealing the show. I think I increased exposure. These are decaying lily pads against reflection on the water of tropical plants. I often look for beauty in the dying stages of plants and flowers, but I find them hard to photograph, except for seed pods. I like it to, Laura. 🙂
This photo is lovely and of course reminds me of Monet. Are you lucky enough to have them nearby to enjoy daily?

I am really enjoying soft colors, both in the photos I choose to post and in my quilt making these days. We all need a big dose of calm. 🙂

I agree with Joanne. Did you do any photo-shop type of editing or is this a photo of how it actually looked? Like it!
