It was a beautiful day at the Naples Botanical Garden Tuesday morning. So beautiful that I spent four hours there, beginning with the lotus and water lilies. The harsh light of the 8:30 sun was tempered by some passing clouds so conditions were great for capturing flowers with just enough gentle light to make them glow. We just returned from Michigan and I promised many people that I would send them some sunshine.
The best I can do is some digital sunshine. Not quite the same as the real thing, but the good news is you can return to this post any time you need another dose. And more will be coming in the next few days.
I’ve never seen purple before. That’s my favorite flower color! You certainly brightened my day.

Thanks for the purple sunshine! It has been warm here but it is scheduled to get colder, for us at least. Beautiful photos!

Thanks, Charles. The cold now seems like another world and a long time ago. Best wishes right back to you.
