When my children were teens and able to understand the abstract nature of words, they would joke that we couldn’t have a retreat until we had a treat.
One of the granddaughters created this masterpiece of a cookie for Aunt Sharon. Aunt Sharon hid it on a guestroom closet shelf for a re-treat (or retreat) at a later time.
I found it this morning as I was hanging freshly-laundered table cloths. Should I have a retreat while enjoying the re-treat she is anticipating at a future time?
