Your blogs do evoke memories. I can remember as a youngster growing up in the Eastern Townships of Quebec we had an old gramophone in our living room. I was not allowed to touch it unless my grandmother put on a record. My job was to crank it back up when the turntable would slow down. I felt like I was very important and the only one who could do this really well. Thanks for the flashback.
