To Northerners, With Love

Sending these beauties to all of you that have to put on layers of clothing before you step out the door, who have to allow extra time to get to work because there is snow and frost on your windshield, who wait until the “low fuel” indicator is calling you stupid before you brave the cold to buy gas. You are my heros!

  1. I live in Petoskey Michigan, where all you wrote of – and more – is true of the north. I’ve begun to swim laps four times a week, and how unlearned I must be to do so in the winter, for my hair is always frozen and my skin covered in goosebumps that are not easily diminished.

  2. Hahaha! These must be for me πŸ™‚ Though I confess I’ve only gotten gas a small handful of times in the past couple years. Have I told you how much I love the header? It’s so inviting!

    • Thanks, Heather, about the header. And I don’t pump gas unless I absolutely have to. It is easier to have JB hassle me about letting my tank get empty than to fill it up. πŸ™‚

  3. I can imagine a big smile on your face as you write the post. I hope you are enjoying the warmth. I hope to see those orchids in person.

    • I imagine they will have some in bloom and I have a free pass that I’m saving for you and Julie to share. I am assuming that you are feeling much better.

  4. They are absolutely lovely. We are braving rain storm here and happy to do so. We’ll still be in drought but every little bit helps. πŸ™‚ Hope all is well with you, Pat. πŸ™‚
