I really enjoy the early morning photo shoots when the shadows are long and the light is clear.
I also love driving down country roads when all the leaves are off the trees and the sun is sitting low in the Southern sky. The trees make a flickering that I remember enjoying even as a small child. The shadows are long even at mid-day so they reach across the road and up the other side.
Most of all I love the way shadows create an inviting atmosphere that says come on in and sit a while.

I love the avenue of shadows ! It would make a fabulous linocut with its graphic lines .
