It was really beautiful, Jean. But be sure to go Monday-Thursday, because we found that by Friday, at least on the southern end, it became very busy and crowded. I don’t think I would do it in summer either because I heard it was crowded. We are planning on doing the southern end again on the way home in the spring to see the azaleas in bloom.
It was so peaceful. Perfectly quiet, and we were the only ones at this stop. So strange to have a perfectly clear blue sky but see clouds hanging between the mountains below.

Yes, we went a little east and traveled almost the whole length of the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was beautiful!
