Cee’s challenge this week is Metal or Autumn. I’m really not ready to think about autumn yet, although my mind drift to cool days and patches of color along the northern side of Lake Superior. We will be there in about a month.
Today, what Cee’s challenge brought to mind was this, taken outside of Hoonah, Alaska.

Love these rusty tones and wonderful details. I have to say though that I look forward to autumn…my favorite season!

About mid-August I begin to feel the change and look forward to fall. We are going to traveling above Lake Superior in the next few weeks so I should see and feel it there.

Really like that shot of the gears…not sure I would trust its function though.

It was long past being functional but it sure aged well. Maybe that should be my goal. 🙂 It was a wench from a fishing boat.
