how cool that the flower opens up to be almost flat like that – what an shot! and I like how you can see the pistils so clear – and also like green bud to the far back – the details are there. and of course that pink is so nice….

Absolutely breathtaking. The Lord sure knew what He was doing in creating THAT beauty!! I gotta try this Floral Friday thing this spring, when our flowers start blooming. 🙂
And they will come. I am fortunate to have a lot of flowers in my photo files – and spring is blooming in Florida – although a different look than in the north. I look forward to getting north to see the new blooms of spring there.
