I was so excited last week when it started snowing
and snowing and snowing, hard.
It was sooooo cold and still, and then one day
the sun came out.
The deep blue shadow branches spread out and
the snow twinkled like stars
and there wasn’t a sound.
I was layered thick from head to foot,
standing transfixed by the beauty around and
there wasn’t a sound.
I closed my eyes and slowly breathing the cold air
I could smell the snow.
Wonderful! 🙂

Come to New England, you could enjoy the 20″ we’ve gotten this week in a three day span. 🙂 Me, I’m tired of shoveling already. 🙂

Yes, even in March if it is new snow. Old snow in March gets, well, old. 🙂

Love the beauty of snow and these photos captured it perfectly. There is something so clean about the smell of snow, my hubs can never smell it when I tell him ‘smells like snow’. Beautiful thank you for sharing.

Now, ice is nasty. I can drive on snow, but not ice. I hate the feeling of my car moving in strange directions that I can’t control. 😀

Haha, not quite what I meant… we had 3mm of ice on the chooks water bucket. That is serious winter for us 🙂
