Locks, Knobs & Handles sounds like a good title for a children’s book but it is the focus of Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week. While out wondering the country roads, we found an old gas station at a crossroads. This is one of the really old ones that had one pump out front of a one room building. I’ve seen others of this style along Michigan state highways. The photo I liked best was of the door knob – and I’ve been saving it for this occasion.
For those of you who are curious about what this door knob belongs to, and to see if your “Dot on the Map” has these along the old highways, here is the building.
Oh, lovely – rust, peeling paint and the whole ‘seen better days’ thing!

I assume you are talking about the knob and not about us. 😀
