Beauty thru my Lens: Sandpipers

We are getting packed and using up what is in the frig. Might be a strange supper tonight. Things are in disorder and I like order so I spent some time making order in my Lightroom library. Whenever my life has been stressed and disordered (they go together for me) I have engaged in an activity that was structured and ordered. I did a lot of counted cross stitch when my eyes were stronger. I liked how all the little stitches were so neatly lined up and so perfect. I also worked on piecing quilts together as a way of gaining some control over life.

Yesterday I said goodbye to Florida by posting Egrets and today it is Sandpipers. The street we live on is called Sandpiper so I’ve been thinking of framing a couple of photographs of sandpipers for the living room wall. I’ve never done this so it would help, as you go through the slide show, if you would “like” the ones you think would frame up nicely. Also any advise you can give in the comments would be much appreciated, especially about ordering quality prints online.

    • How nice to hear from you, Melissa. Yes, life is going well with just the normal ups and down that come with changes in routines, etc. I would love to hear more about how things are going for you. You can contact me with my SAU e-mail.

  1. I love Sandpipers. I would think 093 would look wonderful in a frame. Believe it or not, I’ve used Target online to order prints and I have not bee disappointed. I just order the print and do my own framing. I’ve also ordered prints to canvas and that is fantastic!
Good luck, and hope it all goes smoothly for you.
